In the eleventh month of 2024, Ukraine experienced a significant increase in the export of live sheep and goats, with a total of 1.3 thousand tons sent out, marking a 48.6% rise from the previous year. The financial value of these exports also saw a substantial increase of 53.1%, reaching $1.5 million. The main importers of Ukrainian livestock were Lebanon, Jordan, and Libya, which accounted for 71.2%, 22.2%, and 6.7% of the purchases, respectively. The government's continued support for small farmers in raising small livestock was highlighted during this period.
