In 2021, the Stavropol Territory saw a significant increase in agricultural exports, with a total of 88.2 million US dollars, four times higher than the previous year. The exports were primarily focused on oil and fat products, with sunflower oil being the most demanded. These products were purchased by 26 countries, with Ukraine being the main consumer of margarine. Other products like mayonnaise and sauces also saw high demand. The territory also started exporting linseed oil to Kazakhstan for the first time. This contributed to the Stavropol Territory's ranking among the top five regions for the largest volume of agricultural product exports, with goods now being delivered to 65 countries around the world.
