In June, Ukraine exported 412,000 tons of sunflower meal, marking a 7% decrease from the previous month but the highest historical volume for June. Exports to the EU fell by 40% to 105,000 tons, the lowest since May last year, while exports to China rose for the third consecutive month to 214,000 tons. From September to June, Ukraine's total meal exports reached 4.2 million tons, 21% higher than the same period last season and the second-largest volume historically. The EU remains the primary market with a 43% share, and a new EU import duty on Russian and Belarusian products may enhance the appeal and prices of Ukrainian meal.
