Export of wheat from Ukraine exceeds last year's volumes by 79%

The volume of exports of grain and leguminous crops from Ukraine in the 2023/24 FY as of August 18 amounted to 3.48 million tons, which is 16% higher than the same indicator last season, according to the data of the State Customs Service published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine. The supply of barley to foreign markets amounted to 410,000 tons, which is 60% more than last year. 0.6 thousand tons of rye were sent. 1.66 million tons of corn were exported, which is 14% less than shipments on the same date last season. Export of flour from Ukraine amounted to 16.8 thousand tons, which is 2.3 times higher than last year's figure (7.4 thousand tons).
