Russia is aiming to boost its agricultural production by 25% and agricultural exports by 1.5 times by 2030. The country's grain exports have reached a record high of 55.3 million tons, over 26% of global exports. However, exports face restrictions from the European Union, Turkey, and Kazakhstan. Russia is expanding its grain export markets in the Middle East and Africa, and is also maintaining its position in Asian markets. Over 2,000 Russian exporters supply grain to global markets. The quality of exported grain is strictly monitored and must meet the standards set by the importing countries. These standards include specifications for protein content, moisture, natural weight, and maximum allowable pesticide residues, mycotoxins, and GMOs.
