Exporters of dairy products in Russia will be compensated 100% of the cost of their transportation

The amount of compensation for the costs of exporters for the transportation of dairy products will increase from 25% to 100% from January 1, 2024. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reports. “From January 1, 2024, for exporters of dairy products, the amount of compensation for the costs of its transportation will increase from 25% to 100%. The signed resolution defines milk, cream, whey, butter and cheeses as priority for transportation,” the report says. The decision was dictated by the growth of long-term stocks of dairy products formed at processing enterprises, which leads to a decrease in the purchase price from milk producers.
