In November 2025, Brazil recorded the highest trade surplus in the historical series for the month, totaling US$ 51.2 billion in total flow. The result was driven by the strong performance of agricultural exports, which grew 25.8% compared to the previous year, according to data released by the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (Secex/MDIC). The country's overall exports reached US$ 28.5 billion, while imports amounted to US$ 22.7 billion, generating a surplus of US$ 5.8 billion for the month. From January to November, external sales reached US$ 317.8 billion, an increase of 1.8% compared to 2024. Among the exporting sectors, agriculture was the standout: In the year-to-date, the sector also maintains a positive trajectory, with an increase of US$ 3.45 billion (+5%) in exports.
