According to experts, in the first seven months of 2025, Russia exported around 170 thousand tons of agricultural products to Vietnam worth more than $200 million—30% more than in the same period last year, reported the federal center "Agroexport." The growth drivers were meat products (pork, beef, other types of meat), wheat, and baby food. In particular, from January to July, Russia shipped around 61 thousand tons of pork and food by-products to Vietnam worth more than $146 million. For the same period in 2024, the volume of shipments was at 44 thousand tons worth $79 million. Wheat exports for the same period exceeded 89 thousand tons at approximately $19 million, with more than 250 tons of wheat gluten shipped at over $250 thousand. Russian companies see great potential in introducing new products to the Vietnamese market and are ready to introduce them to importers and consumers, noted the head of "Agroexport" Ilya Ilyushin.
