Mexico also gained prominence, with shipments of US$ 221.1 million, driven by the strong increase in sales of animal proteins, which advanced more than 360% compared to August 2024. Despite the punctual drop, the sector remains strong. From January to July, exports totaled US$ 36.44 billion, virtually stable compared to the same period in 2024, although with a 7.7% decline in volume. In the domestic market, sales accounted for 72% of the total, with a nominal increase of 9.3%, following the expansion of income and employment.
