Exports of frozen fruits and vegetables from Morocco at their lowest

The year 2023 was marked by major challenges for Moroccan exports of frozen products, particularly in the field of fruits and vegetables. A significant fall was recorded, highlighting a complex scenario combining severe weather events and fierce competition in international markets. Between January and October of last year, Morocco exported less than 70,000 tonnes of frozen fruits, berries and vegetables. This situation suggests a steady decline compared to previous years, and according to the latest estimates, it is likely that exports will reach their lowest level in at least six years by the end of 2023.
