In the agricultural season from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, Russia saw a 21% increase in grain exports, reaching 89.3 million tons. This includes a 67% increase in barley exports, a 31% increase in corn, and doubled exports of peas, wheat flour, oats, rye, buckwheat, sunflower cake, and mustard seeds. The countries importing the most Russian grain included India, Indonesia, Tunisia, Bangladesh, Yemen, China, UAE, Brazil, and Mexico. Despite frost conditions, the grain harvest forecast for 2024 remains at approximately 132 million tons, allowing for an export capacity of around 60 million tons in the next agricultural season.
