In the first six months of the current season (September-February 2023/24), Uzbekistan has increased its import of Kazakh wheat, reaching 1.6 million tons compared to 1.529 million tons in the same period of the previous season. This growth underscores Uzbekistan's continued reliance on Kazakhstan for wheat, with February 2023 witnessing a significant shipment of approximately 296 thousand tons, marking the highest export volume in the last four months, despite being slightly lower than the 313.5 thousand tons exported in February of the previous year.
