The cost of supplies exceeded $73 million. From January to June 2025, Russia supplied live animals to foreign markets for a total of over $73 million. Compared to the same period last year, export revenue increased by 54%, according to the press service of the federal center "Agroexport." In particular, the export of cattle increased 2.1 times compared to the first half of 2024, reaching $32 million. The largest buyer of domestic cattle this year is Uzbekistan with a share of 33% in the total value of supplies. Compared to January–June 2024, sales of cattle to this country increased 22 times. Azerbaijan ranks second with a share of 24%, and Kazakhstan ranks third (14%). Russian exports of live pigs abroad increased by 34%, to $20 million. Importers of Russian pigs are Georgia, which accounts for about 74% of the value, and Armenia (26%).
