Russia has seen an 18% increase in agricultural exports compared to last year, with the total export amount reaching $19.2 billion as of August 22. The country has experienced growth in the export of processed products, particularly fat-and-oil, meat, dairy, and confectionery. The geographical reach of these exports has also expanded, with first-time purchases made by Egypt, Morocco, Serbia, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nigeria. The Ministry of Agriculture is working to further boost exports by improving competitiveness among Russian companies and offering state support.
