The main supplier countries traditionally are Turkey, South Africa, China, Egypt, and Morocco. As of November 23, 594.3 thousand tons of mandarins have been imported into Russia since the beginning of 2025, including 120.6 thousand tons in November of this year, according to Rosselkhoznadzor. The department also noted that the main supplier countries of these fruits to Russia traditionally are Turkey (47% of total imports), South Africa (14%), China (13%), Egypt (11%), and Morocco (5%). Since the beginning of this year, the import of mandarins into the Russian Federation from Morocco has increased by 74% (to 31.6 thousand tons) compared to the same period in 2024, from South Africa by 42% (to 82.6 thousand tons), and from China by 27.5% (to 78.6 thousand tons).
