Exports of Russian grain increased by 21%

Analysts of the Center for Grain Quality Assessment presented a consolidated picture of the state of Russian grain exports as of March 18. According to the correspondent of "KazakhZerno.kz", in the current agricultural year (taking into account the EAEU market) 49.3 million tons of grain products were shipped to foreign markets. In comparison with the volumes at the same date of the last agricultural year, exports increased by 21%. In addition, the number of countries purchasing Russian grain has increased: if in 2019/20 there were 131 of them, then in 2020/21. already 134 states. The share of TOP-10 products accounts for 96% of all exports. Traditionally, wheat is at the top of the rating of the most demanded products: its share in total shipments was 70%. Wheat exports increased by 26% and reached 34.6 million tons.
