Türkiye has seen a 13% increase in seedless raisin exports in the first half of the 2024-2025 season, reaching $310 million. The majority of these exports, 90%, are from Manisa, making Türkiye the world leader in seedless raisin production and export. Despite a 32% lower harvest this season, the higher export prices have highlighted the importance of Turkish grapes in the global market. The Aegean Exporters' Association is working towards obtaining a European Union geographical indication for Manisa Sultani Seedless Grapes, with the goal of opening new markets and increasing income for producers and exporters. The majority of exports were to European countries, with the UK, Netherlands, and Italy taking the top three spots.
