In April, Turkey's fresh fruit and vegetable exports reached a value of $211 million 494 thousand, as reported by Ferhat Guruz, president of the Mediterranean Association of Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters. The country exported 279.088 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables, primarily tomatoes, peppers, and lemons. The main importers were Russia, Romania, and Ukraine. The largest increase in export volumes was observed in Kuwait, Iraq, and Georgia.
