Vietnam's export value of lobster and marine shrimp to China surged to US$79.6 million, marking a 32-fold increase from the previous year, with lobster imports rising from 1% to 25.3%. In May, Vietnam became China's fourth largest seafood supplier, with exports totaling US$91.1 million, an 18.2% year-on-year increase. Over the first five months, Vietnam ranked as China's seventh largest seafood supplier, exporting US$370 million worth of products, a 9.7% year-on-year rise.
