A promotional event for sugar plums from Payzawat County in Xinjiang province was held at Beijing’s Xinfadi wholesale market, with the quality produce transported by air to ensure firmness and size. This year, Xinjiang's sugar plum production is expected to increase, leading to a decrease in market prices. The Doowin Agricultural Technology Company in the Yuejia Modern Sugar Plum Industrial Park sorts, packages, and distributes the plums using advanced techniques that extend shelf life, allowing sales to be extended from 20-30 days to two to four months. Payzawat County is the largest producer of sugar plums in China, accounting for about 40% of the country's total cultivation area and producing approximately 60% of the nation's sugar plums.
