Spain: Extremadura pays aid to the EHE

The Government of Extremadura has paid a total of 7,059,710 euros to 2,700 cattle farmers through aid to farms affected by Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease (EHE). With this, the commitment to pay said aid is fulfilled before the end of this year, 2023, since the regional government is aware of the situation and the expenses that these farmers have had when this virus appeared in their animals. Thus, just one week after validating the decree-law of these aids, they have been paid and as of this Thursday, cattle farmers who meet the requirements established for these aids are receiving them. Interested parties will be able to learn about the granting and payment resolutions through the individual notification processed through the LABOREO platform. It should be noted that the maximum amount to be received by beneficiaries can be up to 7,000 euros and the minimum to have access to the aid will be 200 euros.
