The global wheat harvest for the 2025-2026 agricultural season will total 805.3 million tons, thanks to high results in India and Pakistan, according to a press release from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). This is higher than the organization's June forecast of 800.1 million tons. Forecasts for corn and rice have also been improved, but heat and drought may affect yields, especially for corn. According to the FAO, corn harvest will grow due to good conditions in Brazil and increased areas in India, despite reductions in the EU and Ukraine.
