Farmers call for a decree to protect the use of groundwater to prevent its reduction

The Central Union of Irrigation Farmers of the Tajo-Segura Aqueduct (Scrats) has warned about the "drama" that the planned reduction in the use of groundwater stipulated in the law from 2027 would represent, and has requested that it be guaranteed via royal decree that this measure will not be carried out to provide peace of mind to the sector.
