JASHORE, Feb 8, 2021 (BSS) – Farmers and agriculturists are expecting a bumper mustard production in the six south-western districts of Khulna division during the current season. The six districts are- Jashore, Jhenaidah, Magura, Kushtia, Chuadanga, and Meherpur. Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) officials said mustard cultivation is increasing every year as the farmers are showing interest in expanding its farming after getting repeated bumper production with excellent market price in the recent years. DAE Jashore regional office sources said a total of 52,383 hectares of land have been brought under the cultivation in the districts this year.
