The farm "Ovoci Slobozhanshchyny," founded by a family of settlers from the Kharkiv region, has successfully adapted in Ivano-Frankivsk and continues to grow vegetables, corn, and even watermelons—a crop not typical for the region. Reports Economic Truth. Before the full-scale invasion, the farm operated near Kupyansk on an area of over 1000 hectares. After the occupation of the region, the Fedosienko family evacuated and temporarily worked in the Kyiv region. In 2023, the farmers settled in the village of Studinka near Kalush, renting 35 hectares of land. By 2025, the area had increased to 65 hectares. "A familiar farmer from Brovary offered two hectares of land 'so we wouldn't be bored.' We planted them with watermelons. We stayed in a town near Kyiv, but we knew it was temporary.
