Russia: Farmers in Chuvashia still have a small portion of rapeseed to harvest, the main harvest is complete

Grains, beets, potatoes, vegetables, hops - harvested. This was reported at an operational meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov. As of 11.11.2024, 275.7 thousand hectares of grain and leguminous crops were mown and threshed in agricultural organizations and large peasant farms, or 100% of the harvesting plan (in 2023 - 290.6 thousand hectares). With a yield of 28.3 c/ha (in 2023 - 33.5 c/ha), the gross grain harvest amounted to 780.4 thousand tons (in 2023 - 973.1 thousand tons). The highest harvest of grain and legumes is observed in the Yalchik municipal district - more than 70 thousand tons of grain have been threshed. In the Alatyr and Tsivilsky municipal districts, more than 58 thousand tons. The average yield in the republic was 28.3 c/ha.
