Russia: Farmers of Ingushetia will receive 550 hectares of abandoned walnut orchards

The Ministry of Natural Resources of Ingushetia plans to transfer to farms 550 hectares of abandoned walnut orchards, which are included in the lands of the forest fund. According to the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic, about 34 hectares of the total area of abandoned gardens belonging to the lands of the forest fund have been developed so far. A walnut grove near the rural settlement of Berd-Yurt in the Sunzha region was planted back in 1975. The handover process is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023.
