Fat cattle maintain prices after recent increases

The beef cattle market in São Paulo started Wednesday (13) stable, following the increases recorded the previous day, supported by the improvement in the outflow of meat and the reduction in the supply of animals for slaughter. According to an analysis by the "Tem Boi na Linha" report from Scot Consultoria, the slaughter schedules were, on average, meeting demand for seven days. In the Northwest region of Paraná, the offers for "China beef" and for fat cows opened at a higher level, while the prices for beef cattle and heifers remained unchanged compared to the previous day. The slaughter schedules were, on average, meeting demand for eight days. In Espírito Santo, the market started the day with a positive adjustment for beef cattle and "China beef", with no changes in the quotations for cows and heifers.
