The article reports on the varied prices of local and imported feed and raw materials for different types of livestock feed in Egypt, including broiler, laying hen, livestock, duck, rabbit, pigeon, quail, turkey, camel, horse, and ostrich feed, as well as concentrates, on December 2, 2024. The prices are influenced by the type of protein and the inclusion of freight costs. Additionally, the article highlights the increase in the prices of soybean meal, corn, and sunflower meal on the global stock exchange, attributed to the Russian-Ukrainian war and rising global fuel prices, which have led to major producers converting corn into fuel in North and South America. Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, head of the Poultry Wealth Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, has noted the fluctuating prices of imported corn and the diverse final feed prices for various types of livestock fodder.
