The consortium of South Korean companies Major Feedmill Group and Cargill Agri Purina purchased 67,000 tons of feed corn of South American or South African origin at an international tender, international news agencies reported, citing their sources among European trading circles. The winner of the tender is CJ International, which will deliver the corn in one shipment by February 10, 2026. Of the total amount, 38,850 tons were purchased at $246.61 per ton C&F, and the remaining 28,420 tons at the price of the December futures for the grain on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange plus 188.90 cents per bushel. An additional fee of $1.50 per ton is provided for unloading at a reserve port. For comparison – at the previous tender for the import of feed corn into South Korea, held 6 weeks ago, the delivery of 130,000 tons was agreed at prices of $232.10 per ton C&F and $245.51 per ton C&F ...
