Feed corn has become more expensive on the international import market for South Korea, with a total of 130,000 tons purchased for delivery at the beginning of 2026.

South Korean company Major Feedmill Group (MFG) together with its subsidiary Cargill Agri Purina purchased 130,000 tons of feed corn of South American or South African origin at an international tender, reported the electronic edition APK-Inform, citing its sources among market participants. A batch of 63,000 tons will be provided by the company Agrex at $232.10 per ton C&F, and another batch of 67,000 tons has been agreed with the company CJ International at $245.51 C&F with a premium of 204.4 cents per bushel on the December futures for corn on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. For both batches, payment of $1.25 per ton for unloading at a reserve port has been agreed.
