Iran's State Livestock Products Supply Company (SLAL) has reportedly purchased around 180,000 tons of feed corn at an international tender, with a planned 120,000 tons to be delivered in October and November, reported the online publication APK-Inform, citing its sources among market participants. Three batches of 60,000 tons each were purchased at an approximate price of 235 euros (278.50 dollars) per ton. For comparison – in the previous successful tender for the import of feed corn to Iran, held at the end of May, the delivery of 240,000 tons was agreed upon, with a planned 120,000 tons at a final price, and at the tender in South Korea a week ago, a total of 130,000 tons were purchased at prices between 232.10 dollars and 245.51 dollars C&F with a premium of 204.4 cents per bushel over the December corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade.
