Feed and feed raw materials prices have experienced a decrease today, with broiler feed prices now ranging from 19,600 to 20,800 pounds per ton, a decrease of 300 pounds. Other feed prices, such as laying poultry, livestock, duck, rabbit, sheep, pigeon, quail, turkey, fish, elk, horse, and ostrich feed, also see a decrease in price. The price of imported yellow corn, a key raw material, is also lower. However, the global stock market and the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war have caused an increase in the prices of feed raw materials like soybean meal, corn, and corn meal. Dr. Abdel Aziz Al-Sayed, Head of the Poultry Wealth Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, has noted the price fluctuations in poultry feed, attributing them to factors such as the listed price of imported corn, the liberalization of the dollar exchange rate, and the increase in release paces.
