Fernando Luis knew how to convey his love for livestock farming to his children, who accompany him in breeding Limangus reproductive cattle:

Fernando Luis has a Limangus ranch, a breed developed from the mix of Limousin, of French origin, and British Angus. "The Limangus was developed 40 years ago, and we have had genealogical records of breeding stock for almost 30 years. The breed combines the best of the two that originated it. The Limousin provides excellent muscular production, which is why steers have such high carcass yields, and the Angus brings adaptability to the environment," explained the breeder.

Luis noted that the breed has been growing strongly in recent years, to the point that it is now competing for second place in the Pampas region and is also advancing significantly across the entire country. "This is indicated by the genetic material sales statistics from the Animal Biotechnology Chamber (Cabia)," he said.

His ranch is called La Elisa and is located in Olavarría. There, he produces the best breeding stock of the breed, and in fact, two of the animals he brought to Palermo were grand champions in the recent Limangus autumn exhibition.
