REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PT Pupuk Indonesia (Persero) declares full readiness in supporting President Prabowo Subianto's policy to lower the highest retail price (HET) of subsidized fertilizer. The company believes this step shows the government's genuine support for farmers.
President Director of PT Pupuk Indonesia, Rahmad Pribadi, said that lower fertilizer prices will make it easier for farmers in various regions to obtain their fertilizer needs, thereby hopefully increasing the productivity of their agricultural land.
"Pupuk Indonesia appreciates the government's historic step in lowering the HET of subsidized fertilizer," Rahmad said in Jakarta, Wednesday (22/10/2025).
The company is currently coordinating with relevant ministries and institutions to ensure the smooth implementation of the policy across all regions. Socialization is being conducted to the entire distribution chain, especially the recipients at the transfer points (PPTS), so that the implementation in the field is optimal and does not disrupt the availability of fertilizer.
