The Economic Watch Council in Fez-Meknes has reported a significant negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic on agricultural exports, particularly olive oil, with a drop of 73% in the sector. However, there has been a positive performance in the exports of dehydrated fruits and vegetables, with a increase of + 80%, along with a 24% increase in carob tree and aromatic and medicinal plants. Other exports such as wine products, wood, juice and drinks have also seen a decline. Morocco's exports to the European market have seen an increase in olive oil, while wine product sales have fallen by 65%.
