Fez-Meknes: 73% drop in olive oil exports

The coronavirus pandemic has had a strong impact on agricultural exports to Fez-Meknes, in particular those of olive oil. In fact, the olive sector remains the sector most affected by the crisis, in the region. According to a study by the Economic Watch Council (CVE) in the Fez-Meknes region reported by Lesecos, the sector recorded a drop in exports of -73% for olive oil. It should be noted that Morocco's exports to the European market have increased from 9,014 to 3,385 tonnes, according to data from the European Commission.
