A draft law has been approved in 2022, allocating over 26.699 billion dirhams for subsidies on butane gas and food items, marking a 72% increase compared to 2021. To offset these costs, the government will provide additional credits of 16 billion dirhams. The Finance Bill 2023 is being prepared, focusing on social state consolidation, economic revival, spatial justice, and financial margin restoration, with growth, inflation, and budget deficit assumptions set at 4%, 2%, and 4.5% respectively.
