The Seosan Taean Livestock Cooperative (Chairman Choi Ki-jung) held a ceremony commemorating the export of Seosan Hanwoo beef to Mongolia on the 19th at the cooperative's main office, Seosan Livestock Comprehensive Center, with staff in attendance. This marks the first export to Mongolia. The Seosan Taean Livestock Cooperative plans to alleviate the difficulties of Hanwoo farmers through the export of 'Seosan Hanwoo bulgogi' using less-preferred meat cuts and lay the groundwork for globalizing Seosan Hanwoo. Chairman Choi Ki-jung stated, "Through this new challenge of exporting Seosan Hanwoo bulgogi, we will strengthen the Seosan Hanwoo brand, secure consumer trust, and strive to increase member income, ultimately becoming a sales cooperative recognized by our members."
