In Norway, the manufacturer has announced a significant increase in salmon prices due to high buyer demand during Christmas week, with prices rising sharply since the middle of the previous week. The ex-factory price for 3-4 kg salmon in northern Norway is NOK 95/kg, and 4-5 kg salmon is around NOK 100/kg, marking a substantial increase of NOK 13/kg from the previous week. The market anticipates a supply shortage at the beginning of next year. Meanwhile, Norway's salmon export volume has grown by approximately 10% year-on-year in the past four weeks, and the biomass increased by 1.5% year-on-year at the end of November. Chilean salmon prices remain strong, supported by consistent harvests and managed inventories, with the price of Trim-D fillets sold to the US market remaining stable at a high level.
