The Affordable Fish project in the Sakhalin Region of Russia has seen 35 trade enterprises participating, promising to sell fish products with a minimum mark-up of no more than 15%. This initiative, monitored by the Department of Food Resources and the Consumer Market, has led to lower prices for various fish products. The price range for freshly frozen fish has reduced, and there's a noticeable decrease in prices for canned fish and seafood. This initiative includes the sale of eight types of fresh frozen fish and at least three types of canned fish and seafood, excluding caviar and delicacies.
