Belgium: Flemish turnover from milk production remains stable in 2024

The Flemish agricultural and horticultural sector will generate an added value of 1.566 billion euros in 2024. That is four percent more than in 2023. If it specifically concerns dairy farming, the turnover will be the same as in 2023. This is evident from the evaluation of the production year and the estimate of the annual results that Boerenbond draws up every year. The slight increase is mainly due to the further reduction in costs in 2024, because gross turnover fell by 1.7% to 7.62 billion euros in 2024.
