The Nutrition Reporter series landed in Ibitinga (SP), a municipality known for its embroidery, but also stands out for the strength of its agriculture. It was there that rural producer Adriano Henrique Ballera opened the gates of his farm to show how foliar nutrition has been transforming the productivity and sustainability of his sugarcane and peanut crops. Ballera is part of a family that has been cultivating the land for generations and believes that production is only possible in balance with nature. In addition to sugarcane, the mainstay of the property, peanuts play a strategic role in management, helping to renew the soil and maintain productive balance.
