The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) has reported a general inflation of 3% in July, accumulating 29.1% so far this year. The highest increases were seen in "Restaurants and hotels" (4.8%), "Health" (3.8%), and "Food and non-alcoholic beverages" (3.4%). The prices of food and beverages have increased by 30.7% year-on-year, with the highest increase seen in "Vegetables, tubers and legumes" (9.5%). The increase in "Meat and derivatives" was only 1.5% in July, lower than previous months.
