Since July, the Ministry of Economy in Ukraine has observed a decrease in domestic food prices or a slowdown in price increase, including a significant drop in the prices of borscht vegetables, millet, sunflower oil, oatmeal, buckwheat, wheat flour, and poultry in August. This is attributed to seasonal factors, positive assessments of agricultural production volumes, and the revival of Ukraine's economy. The price normalization comes after a period in the first half of the year when the domestic agricultural sector saw a decline of over 10% due to rising production costs, including a sharp increase in gas prices in the European market.
