A warm winter followed by a cold February has disrupted European cauliflower production, with France and northern Spain experiencing supply issues. The southern part of the Iberian Peninsula is producing cauliflower, but it cannot make up for the lost quantities. The trader expects the shortage to last 2-3 weeks, impacting traders and supermarkets alike. Last year, harsh weather reduced the average yield of cauliflower production by 27 percent, affecting only 200 hectares of farmland.
