The article reports a significant decrease in the price of five vegetables commonly used in Ukraine's traditional dish, borscht, with the overall cost dropping by over 25% compared to the previous year. This includes a 27% reduction in carrots, an 8.79% decrease in beets, a 9.38% drop in potatoes, a 3.05% decrease in onions, but a slight 2.04% increase in cabbage. This price drop is observed despite a slight uptick in cabbage prices, with the total cost of these borscht vegetables falling by 11.51% within just one month, from August to September, of the same year.
