In 2022, Ukraine saw a significant increase in the export value of seeds and fruits of oil crops, with a 54% increase from the previous year, reaching nearly 3.8 billion dollars. This surge was primarily driven by a doubling of deliveries of rapeseed, soybeans, and sunflower, with sunflower exports experiencing the most notable growth. The European Union emerged as the leading buyer, accounting for over 75% of the value of all oil crop supplies, with Poland, Romania, and Turkey being the top importers. However, there was a decrease in export volumes for soybean and rapeseed oil.
