France is set to see a significant increase in sugar beet harvest this year, with an estimated 34.38 million tonnes, marking an 8.4% rise from the previous year and surpassing the five-year average by 6.3%. This growth is primarily due to an expansion in cultivation areas. In contrast, the country's common wheat and winter barley production is projected to see a decrease, with wheat at 25.78 million tonnes, down by 26.5% from last year, and barley at 10.05 million tonnes, down by 18.2% from last year. Meanwhile, grain corn production is expected to rise by 12.1% to 14.14 million tonnes.
