The French government has ordered additional vaccines for livestock due to an expansion in vaccination areas and the availability of more funding. The vaccines were sourced from two manufacturers, with the stock from one already exhausted but still available for purchase on the private market. Voluntary vaccination has been possible in France since 3 October, and the government's payment for the vaccines and a portion of the veterinarian costs.
