Besides the soybean derivative, the loss is also recorded in relation to corn. According to CEPEA researchers, this movement results from the devaluation of live chicken and the rise in prices of these inputs, essential for broiler production. In the partial data for November (up to the 26th), CEPEA data show that live chicken is traded in the state of São Paulo at an average of R$ 6.10 per kilo, a 2.60% drop compared to the previous month. Meanwhile, the ton of meal registers an average of R$ 1,724.78 in the Campinas region (SP), an increase of 5.30% compared to October.
